and improving. TQC provides support services for those efforts
in these courses:
Process
Mapping and Measuring – One Day
Process
needs are the ultimate driving force for this solution. Get some
help, get results, and don't be surprised if something is learned
along the way. Based on the approach of learning by doing, driven
by needs and processes, this on-demand solution pairs a Process
Improvement pro with in-house process pros. The instructor knows
how to guide or drive (if that's what's needed) people through the
development or improvement of a process in a timely and measurable
way.
Advanced
Process Mapping & Improvement – One Day
An
action based workshop where process oriented professionals can build
upon their existing abilities to map processes and identify ways
to improve them.
Visio
Software Training – One Day
This
course is intended for beginning Visio users with a variety of drawing
needs. In business, the effective use of graphics can help anyone
communicate ideas more effectively. Drawings are often faster to
create and easier to understand than words can be for the same information.
This course will provide the user with the necessary information
and examples to begin using Visio Software to create high-quality
drawings quickly and easier. Students will learn basic concepts
of diagramming ideas, concepts and data in the form of simple drawings.
Further, the students will learn the techniques to model Process
Maps and Flowcharts. Classroom exercises will illustrate the concepts
and techniques needed to create the drawings.
Failure
Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) – One Day
In
this course you will learn the methods to perform a FMEA, and actually
conduct one in class as a team effort. FMEA is a structured approach
to studying and quantifying the risk involved in any product, process,
service, system, or situation. When properly conducted and implemented,
this method can find and eliminate major sources of risk wherever
it is applied. FMEA originated in the aerospace industry, but its
use has progressively spread across many industries, and is now
a requirement under QS 9000. The workshop is composed of discussion
of the methods, and hands-on interactive application.
